Salary: 25,000 - 35,000 (Depending on experience) My client is looking for both experienced and non-experienced Trade Finance Officers to join the team. This is a very exciting opportunity with an attractive reward package! Why work in Trade Finance? Trade Finance is a very diverse and interesting department, as it caters for the financing of transactions for importers and exporters from all over the world, for a multitude of products such as Oil, Pharmaceuticals, Foodstuffs, Technology and even Motorcycles. Financing is offered through a variety of means including: letters of credit, bills for collection and guarantees. Your day-to-day responsibilities: You will be responsible for the administration of all operational aspects of trade finance products. Provide Trade Finance support Answer queries non-routine in nature, providing advice and guidance to others. Compose / draft correspondence, signing within delegated authority. Operate a keyboard or other equipment making special use of software facilities to facilitate production of letters/ reports/data. Plan, organise and prioritise own workloads and where appropriate instruct others. Compile and process management information. Verify / check the work of others as part of the defined procedure, when required.Person/Experience required: Keen eye for detail Accurate and timely data inputting and administration Ability to work to strict deadlines Self-motivation and good attitude to work Meticulous and good team player Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. Previous financial services experience would be beneficial.
