We are looking for an experienced Tractor Driver and Assistant Grain Store Manager to join our small friendly team,

Extending to over 600 acres, with additional rented arable land and outside agricultural contracting, our farm is mainly arable with a small beef suckler herd and a grain processing plant on behalf of Mole Valley Farmers Ltd, offering a variety of work.

Main responsibilities to include all fertilising using GPS and variable rate spreading to 36 metres tramlines, big square baling of silage, hay and straw, some min till cultivating, hedge cutting on farm/roadsides, intake sampling/testing and weighbridge recording, weighing in and loading lorries/trailers with feed product, mixing/milling grains and generally assisting in on farm duties.

To include predominantly practical work, with a small element of paperwork, you will need a full driving licence and telehandler certificate, be familiar with GPS and modern machinery technology and be mechanically minded. You need good communication skills and the ability to deal with customers arriving by HGV or tractor and trailer. You will have a can do attitude, be tidy minded and willing to use your own initiative when needed.

Salary: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
