This is very much a ‘hands on’ and physical role working as part of the production team, reporting to the Shift Manager. As a production operator, you are the last person to see the product before it goes to our customers, so a high level of accuracy and quality of work is essential (appropriate training provided). Working on a rotating continental shift pattern (4 on 4 off, days 06:00 - 18:00 & nights 18:00 -06:00).

The Role

Work within allocated team to achieve planned manufacturing and efficiency targets

Ensure all production documentation is available and correctly completed at the start, during and end of production run

Adhere to quality standards, taking ownership of our products and delivering the best quality to all our customers

Communicate manufacturing status correctly via the production control system

Observe and follow site housekeeping protocol incorporating ‘Operation Clean Sweep’ to ensure a safe and healthy working environment in all production areas

Experience

in busy production environment

Able to follow direction

Good communication between colleagues and managers - Team Working

Practical interpersonal skills - ability to maintain a high level of discipline associated with daily compliance of hygiene standards and safe operation of factory equipment

Ability to understand and follow company guidelines, policies, procedures and meet the required performance targets
