Test and Development Engineer

You will be supporting product development activities and be responsible to complete testing working closely with the project/product teams.

Job Description Of a Test And Development Engineer
  • Complete individual tests to support the product development aims.
  • Work closely with the build and test team, delegating tasks or completing hands on work as appropriate.
  • Plan and prepare for tests including confirming test processes, prep of test facility and instrumentation preparation, data analysis and test execution.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations

Skills Required Of a Test And Development Engineer
  • Degree Qualified within an engineering discipline.
  • Testing and development experience ideally within machine performance, mechanical or thermal systems
  • A detailed understanding of different types of instrumentation, data acquisition and data analysis systems, their application and function, and to be able to apply them
  • Automotive, commercial vehicles or rail sectors is desirable especially within powertrain systems
  • Electric motors, transmissions and/or power electronics is ideal
