Utilise Finning CRM tool Saleslink to ensure the territory is being covered in alignment with regional PINS aspirations by model family. Promote ‘One Finning’ to your customer base.

Job Description:
We are looking for a customer focused and enthusiastic sales professional to drive forward both New and Used Equipment sales within the South Coast area. Are you able to build and maintain relationships effectively? Could you be our new Territory Account Manager?

Your role as Territory Account Manager at Finning UK & Ireland will see you adopting a planned approach to establish and maintain high level customer relationships with new and existing customers within your set geographical area.

Main Duties

  • Utilise Finning CRM tool Saleslink to ensure the territory is being covered in alignment with regional PINS aspirations by model family. Promote ‘One Finning’ to your customer base.
  • You will employ a dedicated approach to planning the coverage of the territory, utilising customer/product knowledge, sales support tools and inside sales to focus on ‘customers in market’.
  • Effectively manage opportunities from across the business to provide the customer with a timely and effective follow-up. Provide support to the Strategic group when dealing with national tenders.
  • You will develop and utilise a variety of information sources to ensure you have a high industry and sector knowledge base.
  • Develop appropriate sales plans to ensure you meet sales targets for equipment and services and where possible exceeded.
  • Ensure full communication and support in positioning the region as the owner of the front-line customer relationship. Support regional and other internal teams to influence and maximise the customer experience.
  • Co-ordinate across internal functions and departments to ensure your customers receive the highest levels of customer service. Identify key decision makers and quickly build the necessary intimacy and trust to close opportunities successfully.
  • You will communicate and develop account status through the use of the global CAT relationship. Identify and handle any cross divisional opportunities so that a flawless, integrated approach is presented.
In order to be considered for the role you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Product knowledge
  • Industry knowledge
  • PC literate with strong working knowledge of MS Office and Finning CRM software, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Professional manner with ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and ability to work independently
  • Dedication to customer service and a deep understanding of what excellent customer experience looks like
  • Strong presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.
