Being a Supply Planner for Naturex, you will be part of the Supply Chain Team located in Overseal, Derbyshire and reporting directly to the Planning Manager. Working in a constantly changing environment with a huge product catalogue of varying complexity, you will oversee the generating of reliable mid to long-term production plans and the efficient production of minimum stock levels . Naturex is going through major changes with our business integration and SAP going live in 2021. This role is for maternity cover starting as soon as possible until the end of November 2022.
You will:

  • Overall control and maintenance of the master production plan, regular communication required with the planners.
  • Maintain stock levels following customer forecasts, orders and internal knowledge of customer and Inter group order patterns.
  • Ensure stocks of spray dry material are available for production
  • Update the planning excel tools monthly with the most up-to-date forecasts, stock targets and product standards to ensure efficient plans are issued.
  • Daily issuing of pack size guidance for the production team to ensure accurate packing of finished products.
  • Issue fixed production plans and ensuring that enough raw material is available to achieve the plan, working with purchasing if any issues arise with availability.
  • Reactive to stock and order fluctuations to manage internal and customer expectations while keeping change to the production team at a minimum.
  • Create the spray dry campaign plan while staying efficient and trying to keep cost down.
  • Isolate where efficiency gains can be made in the plan by reducing run frequency.
  • Analyse of safety stock data that is generated by group supply chain and raising concerns.
You

  • Can use Microsoft Office products
  • Have Advanced level Excel skills (can perform complex functions)
  • Macro skills advantageous
  • Have good communication skills
  • Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Some experience in production planning and stock levels management preferred
  • ERP/MRP experience, ideally either AS400 or SAP
