CMA are exclusively supporting a non-profit organisation based in Lymington in the recruitment of a temporary purchase ledger clerk. If you are immediately available, have a minimum of one year’s purchase ledger experience and could begin a new role next week, please do get in touch!What will the Temporary Purchase Ledger role involve?- Dealing with all invoices received on a daily basis using the purchase ledger processing software I-Compleat – Ensuring these are correctly coded and sent to the relevant authoriser.
- Ensuring all invoices are received back without delay and checking all nominal ledger, department, description, supplier and VAT coding is correct.
- Authorising I-compleat to process the invoices onto Sage.
- Processing all direct debit payments on Sage.
- Checking previous payment runs have clear the bank and payment made.
- Producing weekly ‘payments due’ report for approval.
- Preparing the BACS listing for upload onto the banking platform.
- Liaising with suppliers on a regular basis to answer any queries and ensure regular statements are received and reconciled.
- Minimum 1 year purchase ledger experience
- Experience of Sage 50 (preferable)
- Available Immediately
- Own transport
