Aspire Training team are based in Bournemouth and operate throughout Somerset, Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire & Hampshire delivering apprenticeships in Childcare, Business Administration, Customer Service and Leadership & Management, as well as short courses. Aspire Training team is a Grade 2 Ofsted provider and has achieved its Investors in People recognition as well as the Beacon Award for Training Excellence!

Reporting to the Business Development Manager for the company, you will be responsible for booking sales meetings for the Aspire Training Team Business Development Manager and Business Development Consultants. The meetings booked will lead to the successful delivery of both our long and short courses.

This is a part time position with the option to work from any of our nurseries in Devon or work remotely from home with the opportunity to increase your hours in the future in line with the company’s growth. Once competent and targets are being consistence met you will have the opportunity to progress your carer further by gaining promotion to a Business Development Consultant.

Key Duties of the role

  • Making outgoing cold sales calls with the objective of booking a sales meetings for the Business Development Manager/Sales Consultants
  • Being responsible for identifying potential areas for sales opportunities both locally and nationally
  • Perform appropriate record keeping on Excel/Our CRM system and other relevant software
  • Supporting the Sales Administrator with Lead Generation
  • Attend Sales/Marketing/operations and staff meetings as and when you are required.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with our customers
  • Monitor sales performance across the company and report any trends to the Business Development Manager
  • Support and enable the Sales Team to achieve individual, team and company targets.

Skills and experience required

  • Previous cold calling experience
  • Previous experience of being in and around a sales environment
  • Good knowledge of MS office software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Either have or be willing to work towards a recognised customer service qualification
  • Prepared to undertake professional development regularly
  • A high level of resilience and the ability to handle objection
