Altus, an Equisoft, owned company, was founded in 2005 on the belief that the Financial Services could be more efficient with better technology. Altus has grown to become a recognised expert in the Financial Services market. Based in the centre of Bath, we now employ around 100 people in the UK and are part of a larger group employing around 800 people worldwide.

The Technical/Digital Consultant is a key role in the Consulting division, reporting to the Technology Consulting Director. This role involves the delivery of digital consultancy engagements for our Financial Services clients. This position would suit those who have proved themselves in software development and design, or have some prior architecture experience, who are looking for greater challenges in solutions and IT architecture and the chance to develop themselves as a consultant in an expanding business.

  • Lead and deliver solution architecture and broader digital assignments on behalf of Altus’s top-tier Financial Services customers
  • Help deliver high-level architecture and enterprise architecture assignments to clients
  • Support the technical aspects of Altus’s Business Consulting engagements
  • Work independently or as part of a team engaging with clients
  • Help to shape technical consultancy assignments using Altus’s IT models and toolkit
  • Technology and digital thought leadership and the creation of new models and technical consultancy propositions
  • Work with clients primarily in the UK but also Europe (must be prepared to travel)
MUST-HAVES
  • Excellent overall knowledge of Technology ideally with in-depth knowledge in specialist areas
  • Good communication skills and a track record of building strong working relationships
  • Logical thinking ability and an aptitude for problem solving using a structured approach
  • Ability to both communicate visually and to write and describe things concisely
  • FS experience desirable but not essential
  • Previous architecture experience an advantage.
  • Typically 10 years+ experience
