We have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Team Lead to work on one of our well established client sites based in Edinburgh.

As a Technical Team Lead you will support your team on a day-to-day basis whilst working closely with the Operations Manager and other Team Leads to ensure the best possible service is achieved.

This is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday on-site in Edinburgh. The site benefits from good public transport connections and on-site parking as well as an on-site canteen and coffee bar.

As a Technical Team Lead you will be responsible for:
  • Supporting your team on a day-to-day basis whilst driving improvements and engagement
  • Being the main contact for escalations from your team
  • Assigning ad hoc tasks and requests
  • Ensuring that weekly/monthly tasks such as overtime and time-cards are completed
  • Being the central point of contact for the employees in your team, whilst work closely with the management teams to ensure all work is completed on time within the agreed SLAs
  • People management tasks including Personal Development Plans, absence and performance management, holiday planning, scheduling, recruitment and resource management
  • Supporting the Operations Manager in finance tasks such as monthly billing, additional billing, budgeting and forecasting
  • Deputising for Operations Managers and other Team Leads on the account should it be required
As a Technical Team Lead you will be able to demonstrate the following skills/experience:
  • Exceptional customer service skills with written, verbal and presentation experience
  • Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced, structured manner to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience of managing a team and able to demonstrate how to get the best out of them
  • Ability to foster creativity, individual contribution and team collaboration
  • Confident, collaborative working style and able to interface with people of all levels
  • Previous technical knowledge/experience would be advantageous
  • High attention to detail with a good understanding of working with 3rd party Field Service organisations
