Job Description - Sales And Technical Support


Actively seeking a Technical Sales Support Advisor to work with our client, based in Newbury.

I am looking to speak to candidates who come from a technical sales background, ideally with knowledge of heat pumps, dosing and/or circulation systems.

Key tasks
  • To provide technical sales support within The Client’s Office at Newbury
  • To provide technical support to the company’s customers and prospective customers for all sales areas.
  • To follow in-house and other prescribed technical courses to become familiar with swimming pool technology including heat pumps, dosing and circulation systems.
  • To provide back-up support to the Sales Team and internal colleagues
  • To process sales orders efficiently and accurately
  • To provide a point of contact for customers wishing to progress, chase their orders, following through to successful delivery to the customer.
  • To liaise with customers over returns issues, warranty and engineer visits.
  • To liaise with the technical department in Belgium to resolve issues
  • To generally assist in such duties as are in keeping with your skills and the company needs. This is a requirement of the flexibility that we need in a small company environment and applies to all personnel in line with their knowledge and abilities
  • To ensure that customer’s goods returns are collected within 1 week of the goods return form being completed by them and returned to us
  • To support the sales team with administrative duties.
