Confident, enthusiastic Sales Engineer required for a well established company based near Stourbridge.The company are looking for a customer facing, technical sales representative to sell products and services to existing customers, and to win new business from companies in the electronics, medical, aerospace, IT, automotive and related sectors.The ideal candidate would ideally have industrial sales experience, and be used to working in a field sales capacity, or looking to make the move to a field-based role.The Main Duties Of The Role
  • Responding to enquiries direct to the sales department, generating repeat business from existing customers
  • Preparing quotations and costings
  • Winning new customers through leads and research
  • Planning and prioritising personal sales activities
  • Updating customer records
  • Advising customers on best practice
  • Carrying out ESD testing, surveys and audits at customer sites
  • Occasional nights away will be necessary
  • Reporting to the Managing Director
The Right Candidate Would
  • Be experienced/or be happy to work out the office attending client visits across the UK 2 to 4
  • Business to business sales experience either in an internal or field sales role preferred
  • Have a full clean driving licence
  • Knowledge of electronics or have experience working in a technical setting would be preferred but not essential as training will be provided
  • Be computer literate
