Are you a detailed and analytically minded problem solver, looking for a technically challenging new role?

We are looking for a Technical Reviewer Water Systems to join our testing Lab in Oakdale, South Wales. In this role you will be the key link between our account management team and our testing technicians.

You will review client applications received via the account manager, and identify the required testing and evaluations needed, liaising with our test technicians where required, as well as evaluating test results in support of certification and/or registration services.

What you will be doing:

Including but not limited to:

  • Evaluating applications to identify testing requirements and provide quotation for the required services
  • Working with account/client team to identify and ensure receipt of proper documentation and samples required
  • Assisting Account Managers with customer estimates and quotations
  • Performing routine and complex product reviews.
  • Effectively interacting with program and laboratory personnel to ensure proper testing and associated documentation and database systems are complete, accurate, and properly maintained
  • Communicating with relational staff and clients on technical issues relating to product compliance
  • Maintaining documentation and database information relating for assigned areas
  • Authoring and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned areas
  • Communicating directly with certifying bodies

The candidate we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and sort through complex project submissions to find pertinent information
  • Excellent written communication skills, and ability to concisely identify and communicate technical information to clients and to internal colleagues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • High level of mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Working knowledge of NSF standards (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in natural or physical sciences, or engineering (preferred)
  • Experience in evaluating mechanical schematics (preferred)
