Title: Technical Publications Engineer

Pay: £50 per hour Via Umbrella

Location: Wolverhampton (possibility to be hybrid after first few months)

Duration: 6 month contract

Hours:37 hrs

Shift pattern -Mon - Thurs 8 - 16.45

Fri 8 -12

Your Skills and Experience:
  • Engineering experience in the Aerospace and the Aftermarket Business, preferably with knowledge in Actuation Systems.
  • Experience in Technical Publications and Airworthiness.
  • BEng or MEng in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • A strong communicator able to interact with a variety of stakeholders
  • Highly motivated; able to "make things happen".
  • A determined, committed individual with a track record of taking responsibility.
  • Structured and organised; good planning, reporting and communication skills
Job Summary:

We are looking for a Technical Publications Engineer with knowledge in Airworthiness to support our Product Support Engineering Team in the management of Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Technical Publications and the development of Repair Schemes. Role includes:
  • Work in a team and carry out the review of Technical Publications Data
  • Support the Technical Publications Authoring Team in providing source data required to update Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs)
  • Assist in the submittal of Technical Publications to the customer
  • Support CMM shop verification activities
  • Support procedural updates as they relate to Technical Publications or Airworthiness
  • Support the management and reporting of the assigned work package
  • In addition to the above, the following activities may also be requested depending on workload:
  • Create documentation in support of the release of new or updated repair schemes.
  • Support the technical interface to our MRO Operations with regard to engineering documentation.
  • Perform other tasks which are not included in this job specification but are within the capabilities of the individual and, where necessary, training will be given.
