Reporting into the Head of Learning & Development,the scope of the Learning and Development Business Partner is to lead on new and exciting areas of our L&D programme.

This will include working directly with the organisation’s leadership to develop and direct an L&D agenda that closely supports the organisational goals.

Role requirements:
  • Design, implementation (delivery) and validation of technical training
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring others

The L&D Business Partner will also advise on L&D policy and assists with implementation of L&D procedures and processes.

Personal attributes:
  • Deep L&D expertise in at technical learning delivery, demonstrable through work experience and ideally a post-graduate qualification or equivalent professional membership
  • Instructional design related qualification, desirable
  • Strong manufacturing or engineering background
  • Good communicator / influencer
  • Builds partnerships and works collaboratively
  • Ability to lead a project with excellent planning, organising and implementation skills
  • A prominent level of self-motivation to overcome obstacles and solve new and novel problems
  • High attention to accuracy and detail
  • A mindset of continuous improvement
  • Manages complexity easily
