Technical Director, part time role

We have a rare opportunity for a senior Defendant PI Solicitor to join a leading organisation which provides technical support and guidance to its members- Part Time Role.

The Role:
The role would suit a solicitor with experience of working within the insurance industry or within a law firm acting for insurer clients, either as a fee-earner or a PSL. Knowledge and experience of a range of litigation types would be beneficial, with a willingness to gain further experience in other areas, to be able to provide support to a wide range of specialist Sector Focus Teams.

The Technical Director needs to be a self-starter, with the ability to take the initiative, anticipate needs and provide solutions. Flexibility in working is required, to attend meetings and meet deadlines. Most meetings are virtual now and that will continue indefinitely.

The work includes:
o regular meetings with the
o supporting and driving initiatives.
o drafting briefing papers and communications.
o research and the provision of information on topics of interest.
o Keeping abreast of current developments and news, identifying issues and facilitating discussion and the sharing of ideas.

This is a great opportunity for a defendant Solicitor looking for a new challenge away from fee earning and interesting in exploring other areas of insurance litigation.

This role is permanent but part time, 3 days per week. All home working except for any meetings you are required to attend.
