Role - Head of Legal Services UK:
This is a new role intended to support the UK Director of Legal by assuming responsibility for the management of day to day legal activities for the UK business.

Working collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders, the Head of Legal Services will lead on all non-contentious and contentious operational legal matters for the UK, plus larger projects and legal matters for the Group.

Principle accountabilities include all day-to-day commercial contracts and agreements; bids and tender support; management of acquisitions and disposals; corporate due diligence; execution of project agreements; finance documentation; and liaising with external funders, partners and advisors.

In addition, you will manage, develop and supervise the In-house Lawyer ensuring their continuous development and progress.

About you:
Although our client is a property business, they are not seeking to recruit a property solicitor. Instead, they seek to hire a c. 10 years’ PQE commercial solicitor who is able and willing to apply their knowledge to commercial and contractual matters, as well as other areas and legal specialisms.

Existing in-house experience is preferred and you must be willing and able to support the junior lawyer in the team.
