Technical Author (Medical Device) RhylWe are currently recruiting a Technical Author to join a UK based Medical Manufacturing organisation in Rhyl.Role ResponsibilitiesThe Technical Author Role will form part of the Group Product development team, and aid with supporting the team throughout the processes of developing both new and existing product throughout the business.This role will be responsible for ensuring the documentation for the launch of new products is completed, as well as being a link between the technical department and production and commercial teams.
  • Provide information and management support to key project stakeholders.
  • Audit Product documentation and report against relevant standards for compliance - highlight non-conformities.
  • Create & Update Product User Manuals, Service Manuals & Work Instructions.
  • Update Product documentation in line with regulatory updates, regional updates & General improvements.
  • Create Meeting Minutes and issue.
  • Existing Product change (ECR) administrative work and communications.
  • Manage & Improve New Product Launch release documentation and communications
  • Collate information & update areas of PIMs (Product Technical Information) database.
  • General office support, additional point of contact for QA, Regulatory & commercial requests.
Role Requirements
  • Microsoft Office skills and experience - specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Essential)
  • Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator experience (preferred)
  • Technical work experience.
  • Strong communication skills, as you will be speaking and emailing work colleges both on site and externally.
  • Ability to create effective relationships with the project team, supply chain partners and customers under time pressure to help support the delivery of business and project goals
  • Results driven and can work equally as well in a team or on their own
  • Impeccable attention for detail and forward-thinking.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, with good problem-solving skills, able to make decisions independently.
