Temporary Technical & Administration Support – Parking Services Reference no: Durham 1003747314156073 Pay Rate: Up to £10.98 per hour PAYEThe post holder will be part of the Councils Business Services support service, which provides a range of support services to teams across the Council. The successful candidate will provide technical and administrative support to the Parking and Transport Infrastructure (P&TI) Team. Key Responsibilities:
- Parking and bus station administrative support.
- Placing of internal and external orders and receipt of invoices via the computerised financial management system.
- Collation of data for Performance Indicators.
- Creating, maintaining and updating spreadsheets for enforcement requests, permit administration and other P&TI registers.
- Mail and correspondence logging, distribution and filing.
- Maintenance of stores and stationery.
- Assisting with general administration for the team.
- 4 GCSEs graded A-C including either English Language or Literature (or equivalent qualification such as NVQ Level 2 in Administration).
- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
- Experience of working within a office environment.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines.
- Dealing with queries.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven administrative and organisational skills.
- ICT Skills: Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
