Creative Support are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to manage our team of similarly skilled support staff at our service in Scunthorpe. We require the applicant to have a good understanding and experience in the field of learning disabilities and autism.

You will receive guidance and support from the registered service manager to help to maintain high quality support at our supported living service based at Hebden Court in Scunthorpe. You will also join a cohort of experienced regional managers who, alongside the registered manager will provide peer support to you in your role.

The successful applicant will be supporting active and independent service users with learning disabilities with a wide range of interests and goals. You will provide outcome focused support which enables service users to lead fulfilling and valued lives, maintain their tenancies, participate in their local community, develop independent living skills and achieve their personal goals and desired outcomes. Team Leader Duties
  • To ensure that the service provided is responsive to the needs and preferences of service users and their families.
  • To provide mentorship, support and guidance for the staff team working within the service.
  • To lead, coordinate and supervise a team of support workers in the service user’s home to achieve the highest standards of practice, customer care and positive outcomes
  • To ensure that staff training needs are identified and met and all training under taken is recorded within supervision files and the training matrix.
  • To maintain and collate data relating to referrals, hours of service delivery, caseloads,
  • service utilisation and achievement of outcomes.

You will be required to manage rotas and within this work in a flexible manner including working evenings, weekends and sleep-ins as required and bank holidays on occasions.
