We are looking to employ a hardworking, conscientious individual who will work with our existing team of administrators in Foss Park Hospital Reception.

The successful candidate will be required to deal with both incoming and outgoing telephone calls, rostering, cashiering and aspects of diary management as well as welcoming visitors to the site as part of day-to-day reception duties when required.

The successful applicant will ideally have an awareness of mental health issues and will be able to demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work. They will have an eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy. They will be able to effectively and clearly communicate with colleagues, service users and their families.

As a team player, you’ll be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines and have a customer focused approach. Previous experience of working within the NHS is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

You are required to have NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent (or willingness to achieve within an agreed timescale) good standard of English and Mathematics; experience of working in a busy administrative environment and be proficient in the use of MSOffice with experience of patient records systems.
