Role overview
The Air Ambulance Service provides two very important functions, Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and The Children’s Air Ambulance which provides paediatric transfers across the UK. Our objective is to save lives, utilising specialist pilots, doctors, and paramedics and with our work centred on saving lives, improving clinical outcomes and being able to react quickly and efficiently to emergencies.

The Role: *
The role of Team Administrator will report into our Health and Safety Manager providing a wide range of support across the Property Function (Health and Safety, Facilities and Estates)
Its extremely varied and fast paced, tasks and priorities will change but some key responsibilities are below:

  • Collate internal audit results to enable H&S to see compliance scores, highlighting any exceptions
  • Collating risk assessment information and highlighting any anomalies
  • Monitor fire drills and log completion
  • Raising PO’s where required
  • Supporting with health & safety committee meetings – organisation and minutes preparation and distribution.
  • Keeping the COSHH register updated with assessments
  • Converting shop risk assessments from excel to word.
  • Updating with current contract/service information dates. Adding restricted area information.
  • Monitoring the Accident inbox
  • Updating the accident tracker

The above is not exhaustive but will give you an idea of the sorts of things you will be doing.

The person: *
This role is perfect for someone who has experience of working within a Health and Safety or a Property function. You may love working in this sort of role or be looking to progress your career, we can work with both to give you what you need to be happy in your role. The role is varied and will change so you will comfortable taking on new tasks and managing your own priorities. You will also potentially be supporting 3 people so you will be able to manage expectations and push back if needed, we are ok with that! In terms of technical skills any experience of Microsoft applications will be of benefit to this role.

The role will predominantly be based in Rugby with some home working.
