This is a great chance to work alongside the committed staff in our renowned schools, who have an enthusiastic and welcoming nature.GSL Education is looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work across client schools across Goolefor the upcoming September 2023 term.Requirements
  • Experience in Key Stages 1 and 2 advantageous.
  • Thorough knowledge of primary education system of UK.
  • Possess a Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2 or 3).
  • Be energetic and eager to support teaching and learning.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have a passion for the progress of Primary School pupils.
  • Have very strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Have excellent classroom management skills.
  • Be able to communicate well with students, colleagues and parents or carers.
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a DBS through GSL Education.
Key responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to students, reinforcing learning and addressing individual needs.
  • Help with classroom management, ensuring a safe and orderly atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop implement effective learning strategies.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Providing a stimulating learning environment for students.
  • Attending school meetings, briefings, and events.
  • Liaising with parents, teachers, and external agencies to ensure social, emotional, and ensuring adequate academic progress is made.
  • Assisting with the planning and preparation of classroom activities.
