1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Chelmsford

Position: SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Chelmsford

Salary Scale: £75-£100

Contract Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities: As a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant in Chelmsford, you will be instrumental in providing personalized support to a student with Special Educational Needs.

  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure tailored assistance.
  • Collaborate closely with the SENCO, teachers, and professionals for effective inclusion.
  • Create and adapt learning materials, meeting the unique needs of the student.
  • Foster a positive and supportive relationship to enhance the student’s learning experience.
  • Monitor and record the student’s progress, offering valuable feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, focusing on Special Educational Needs, is advantageous.
  • Genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to cater to the specific needs of the student.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
