Monday to Friday, 8.50am to 3.30pm (30 hours and 50 minutes per week, term time only) with 30 minutes lunch break

Warmsworth Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our expanding team and make a difference for children, including those with additional needs.

The Governors of Warmsworth Primary School wish to appoint a talented and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our support team. The successful candidate will be working under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff to support teaching and learning in classrooms to work with individuals (some with additional needs) and groups of children alongside other staff to provide personalised support.

This post will also require the successful applicant to support children at lunchtime, in a midday supervisor role.

Warmsworth is a large mainstream primary school, providing education for children aged between 3 and 11 years old.

The successful candidate will:
Be an enthusiastic and motivated individual
Have the passion to make a difference in our school
Be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Be a team player with high standards of themselves and others
Have experience in supporting children in the Foundation Stage (aged 3-5)
Have experience, or an interest and understanding, of supporting primary aged children and Special Educational Needs and Disability
Be able to lead learning in groups of children
Have good literacy and numeracy skills (preferably GCSE English and Mathematics to Grade C or above.)
