Teaching Personnel work with several Primary Schools around Wellington and Taunton and are looking for Teaching Assistants. We have a number of short term and day to day TA opportunities that suit your availability.With opportunities in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working on a supply basis will allow you to demonstrate your skillset in a variety of year groups! It also allows you to expand your experience across Primary Schools. You can pick and choose the days you would like to work, allowing you to fit it around any other commitments.As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside the class teacher to support learning, working with small groups of students or on a one-to-one basis.The benefits of working day to day supply with schools very close to each other are:

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Should
  • Have experience working as a Key Stage 1 or 2 Class Teaching Assistant
  • Hold relevant qualifications (Level 3 TA / CACHE Level 3) desirable but not essential
  • Be flexible and patient
  • Be able to communicate effectively within a team
  • Be committed to work full-time
