The school we are working with are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with pupils in Key Stage 1 and 2 who require 121 support to enhance their learning development. To be considered for this position you must have a proven track record of supporting pupils who require developmental support, including academic interventions in reading/writing or maths; have strong language and literacy skills; be able to engage pupils and differentiate work according to academic levels; and a clear understanding of phonics.

This Role Will Include
  • Teaching pupils with developmental difficulties in reading, writing or maths
  • Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
  • Assisting with behavioural support where necessary
  • Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn
You Must
  • Have experience working as a Key Stage 1 or 2 Class Teaching Assistant
  • Be flexible and patient
  • A caring nature.
  • DBS through the update service or be willing to apply, in which we can assist with.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
