Inspire Trust is a Multi Academy Trust based in Rotherham which includes Oakwood High School, Sitwell Junior School and Thomas Rotherham College.
Thomas Rotherham College is the largest sixth form college provider in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
We have a tradition of achievement and aim to provide a future of opportunity to all our students. Music Technology sits within the Faculty of Visual & Performing Arts and Media which has some of the best results and most innovative teaching in the college.
Due to the current post-holder taking a sabbatical to work in the music industry, an opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic and high-quality teacher/ technician to the department, capable of teaching across a range of subjects and, specifically, the ability to teach A Level Music Technology.
- The current post is full-time and there are two elements to the role. 0.4 of the role is a teaching role (paid on the Teachers’ Main pay Scale (MPS 1-6 & UPS depending on experience) while the remaining 0.6 is paid on a support staff scale (Inspire Band D).
Candidates must be educated to degree level and hold a PGCE/PGCE Post 16 with QTS or another appropriate and equivalent teaching qualification. Candidates must also be able to evidence successful teaching experience with 16-18 learners, including the delivery of a range of Level 3
courses.
