Teacher of English

Location: Hull& East Riding Yorkshire

Start Date: Immediately

Salary:£30,000 - £43,266 per annum.

GSL Education are looking to appointQualified Teacher of English to work atClient Secondary Schools in Hull & East Riding Yorkshire, starting immediately. As an English Teacher for GSL Education, you will be teaching GCSE pupils a mixture of English Language and English Literature. This a great opportunity for Teachers looking for a flexible work-life balance, or those simply wanting a new experience.

Responsibilities – Teacher Of English

  • Develop and present interesting English language and literature lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Give pupils a curriculum that is relevant, well-balanced, and differentiated, and offer assistance in any areas that they require.
  • Establish a good rapport with educators, parents, and students.
  • Assure excellent student performance by exercising wise direction and oversight.
  • Strengthen individual growth in subject expertise and pedagogy.

Requirements – Teacher of English :

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and specialise in teaching English Language and Literature to GCSE standard.
  • Have teaching experience which can be referenced from within the last 2 years (placements can be referenced for NQTs or ECTs).
  • Be a motivational and innovative teacher, able to engage students of all abilities.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be open to completing additional training if required.
  • Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS, registered on the update service, or be willing to obtain one.
