Carwow is growing quickly and we are scaling our Engineering and Product teams from 6 to 10 teams this year. Hiring the absolute best people for our growing team and delivering an exceptional candidate experience is a key strategic priority - which is where you come in.

Reporting into the Head of Talent, and working closely with the rest of the Talent Partners and wider People Team, you will take full ownership for hiring a variety of roles, partnering with hiring teams in a 360’ Talent Acquisition role with a strong focus on direct hiring and building more diverse pipelines of talent.
You’ll pride yourself on giving a phenomenal experience to candidates and will also get involved in key projects e.g. helping to grow and evolve our employer brand through social content, virtual (and hopefully soon in person!) events and meetups.
This could be the perfect opportunity for someone who has experience Recruiting across a range of Tech and Product roles and has proven success in building strong talent pipelines, to gain some amazing experience in a fast growing, innovative company.

Working closely with hiring managers to manage the full process with a strong focus on direct sourcing to find exceptional talent
Delivering a world-class candidate experience at all times and finding ways to wow our candidates (excuse the pun!)
Building talent pools for high-frequency roles (e.g Ruby Developers) creating longer term relationships with speculative top talent for the future
Exploring and introducing ways to drive D&I progress and work alongside Managers to build future talent programmes
Working alongside the Head of Talent to drive our employer branding efforts, suggesting new ideas and working with the business to create interesting, relevant content
Leveraging data to solve problems, find opportunities and gain insights, running reports/data against KPIs as needed
Keeping our Applicant Tracking System system (Workable) up to date and accurate, advertising roles and helping hiring managers with issues with the system
Requirements

You will have:
Previous Tech Talent Acquisition experience within fast paced, Consumer businesses is essential so that you can hit the ground running in our busy team. If you’ve worked in-house within a high growth tech business - all the better!
Previous experience utilising a wide range of Sourcing platforms to engage with potential candidates for hard-to-fill roles is key with a ‘hunter’ mindset and a resolve to find the best talent
You know your way around various ATS platforms and can work out how to get the best out of these - we use Workable at carwow
Experience of using data to influence key stakeholders and improve hiring success
A good knowledge of employment law/IR35 legislation
Previous experience recruiting across our Tech stack would be advantageous

And will be:
Highly organised, self motivated and passionate about what you do
A true “people person” who thrives when building strong relationships with people with a true passion for delivering a quality candidate experience
A good communicator, with excellent stakeholder manager skills - you like to work with stakeholders and are happy to challenge when needed
You’ll be a team player, happy to flex what you do in line with business and team
You’re constantly looking for better ways of working and love suggesting new ideas and keeping an eye on new tech
You know the “why” and importance behind everything you do - admin bits of your role aren’t just "admin" to you. You get how everything from timely, well written communications to candidates and smooth processes to stand out social posts and engaging content can make all the difference in attracting the best talent
