The purpose of this position is to lead the development of agreed initiatives within the Talent Management agenda in support of the organisation’s approach to identifying, assessing, engaging, retaining and managing Talent. The role will use knowledge of JLR, combined with external talent insight to ensure our talent approach supports the business to deliver its

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

  • Work with squad members to deliver priority outcomes as well as cycle activities
  • Lead the development and implementation of agreed projects within the ’My Opportunities’ agenda
  • Scan and analyse the external environment to identify best practice and initiatives and develop these concepts within the context of Jaguar Land Rover
  • Creating initiatives that identify, retain and develop diverse talent that meets the needs of our business both now and in the future
  • Keep abreast of key trends and industry movements by developing strong external networks
  • Launch initiatives by utilising Agile methodology to ensure the achievement of planned outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with other People Experiences, People Partners and senior stakeholders in order to deliver a coherent approach for the business
  • Apply working knowledge of key HR practices, good practice and industry knowledge when collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

What You’ll Need

  • An understanding of and a passion for talent, succession and career management
  • Commercially astute with an ability to understand talent management within a large business context
  • The ability to combine the current business context and external best practice and thought leadership to deliver fit for purpose interventions
  • The ability to build effective working relationships, influence effectively and work collaboratively with key stakeholders, internal colleagues and external suppliers
  • Strong data and analytical skills, able to convert qualitive and quantitative analysis into insights and proposals
  • Managing multiple projects at the same time, comfortable working through complexity and ambiguity
