Currently, we have an excellent part-time opportunity to join us in the forefront of our award-winning People Team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be working closely with the Head of People in identifying and bringing in the best talent to the business. Proactively managing the end to end recruitment lifecycle, whilst providing exceptional experience.


Day to Day as a Talent Acquisition Specialist you’ll be focused on:

  • Responsible for creating outstanding and memorable experiences for all candidates who apply for our roles and leading them through the recruitment journey with us, and contributing to process improvement/automation where necessary.
  • Being a key contributor to our future talent strategy in both attraction and retention.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to ensure a streamlined recruitment process, attracting the best talent and talent strategy.
  • Proactively source our future talent by using your established networks to discover, and attract experienced, diverse, ambitious talent to join our team.
  • Screen candidates effectively and fairly by assessing both their previous experience as well as culture fit
  • Creating job advertisements and posting on 3rd party job boards, reporting and attraction management
  • Updating and maintaining our ATS system, in line with GDPR practices
  • Reporting on talent metrics and providing actionable insights to help drive our resourcing decisions
  • Co-ordinating Resourcing and Talent projects

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you’ll need:

  • As well as living and breathing the Virtual1 Values,
  • You will have solid hands-on experience performing in an in-house talent acquisition role, with experience sourcing in Sales.
  • A background in delivering direct recruitment through a variety of sourcing routes such as job boards, referrals and social media including LinkedIn
  • Must have excellent organisational skills and enjoy multi-tasking, especially when juggling multiple projects
  • A proactive approach to driving forward the recruitment process and getting the best people working for us
  • Confident in finding creative solutions to problems and dealing with challenging situations
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to speak to and build relationships with individuals at all levels
