As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our HR department, providing a platinum recruitment service to the organisation. This is a hands-on role where you will own and manage a complex portfolio of recruitment from the request stage through to offer and onboarding.

As an experienced recruiter, you will be responsible for providing strategic, proactive support to Senior Management and stakeholders across the University of Derby campuses.

You will build innovative sourcing strategies led by data and market intelligence, lead a selection process that adopts D&I best practices, and partner closely with colleagues and key stakeholders throughout the hiring journey.

Skills

To be successful, you will need:
  • Experience recruiting for a large and/or complex organisation with a variety of talent streams, either via search firm, RPO or in-house recruiting environment
  • Experience with research/sourcing tools such as LinkedIn and other social media or technical forums
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with employees, stakeholders, and candidates and to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
  • The ability to write engaging advert text and support the development of recruitment marketing assets ( visual, written and video)
