About This Role

This is a unique role reporting to Head of Global Digital Sustainability.

As Sustainability Manager you’ll be an integral part of the team with the opportunity to have real impact via a wide range of sustainability projects and programmes, providing technical expertise and advice in relation to a range of environmental and sustainability aspects.

You’ll have a real passion for how digital technologies can help our customers on their sustainability journey.

You’ll Have The Following Responsibilities
  • Support the development of holistic sustainability strategies, across decarbonisation & Circular Economy
  • Deliver LCA projects across BT products and services ensuring robust and credible outcomes are produced
  • Work with product managers across the portfolio to develop new sustainability propositions
  • Support Bid & Account teams to build in customer specific sustainability collateral in response to RFPs
  • Work with industry partners to develop new offerings
  • Work with Marketing to develop sustainability content & collateral
  • Develop and manage sustainability KPIs across the portfolio
You’ll Have The Following Skills & Experience
  • Qualification in a relevant engineering/environmental/natural science or related degree
  • Knowledge of Whole Life Cycle Assessments and embodied carbon calculations
  • Excellent Excel & VBA skills
  • Substantial experience of writing presentations and workshop delivery
  • The ability to package information for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent communication and team skills
