We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sustainability and Compliance Manager to join an award winning Perth based company. As a growing business that has excelled over the past few years, you will have the opportunity to work with current and new customers, to understand their goals, uncover areas of improvement, and find out about their energy plans, actions and costs.

Duties Involved
  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your contracts/accounts, taking ownership of the compliance and sustainability activities of the business.
  • Working as part of a team to deliver projects in a high quality, professional, and timely manner.
  • Liaising with suppliers of energy efficient technologies to ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Long-term Net-Zero planning.
  • Consultancy reporting on various energy efficiency and renewable technologies.
  • Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting.
  • Scope 1 & 2 carbon emissions reporting for SMEs.
  • Visiting clients’ site to answer questions, discuss potential solutions, and determine feasibility of different energy reduction options.
  • Project managing the entire process from initial enquiry to install of various energy efficiency and on-site generation technologies for clients
  • Leading meetings with existing and potential clients, clearly explaining theories and technologies, presenting solutions, and answering any questions they may have.
  • Developing current offering and reporting models to offer clients an even more comprehensive service.
  • Accessing funding for renewable energy projects
  • Working with the Business Development team to take advantage of new opportunities and attract new potential clients.
  • Working with the Marketing team to produce blogs, videos, and social media posts to enhance customer engagement.
  • Working with the Account Management team to take advantage of opportunities to upsell to clients, and provide advice on renewable energy options from the National Grid.
  • Fee setting and invoicing for reporting work and other projects.
  • Building and maintaining strong, everlasting customer relationships based on trust and respect.
  • Helping to develop new business from existing customers and actively seek new sales opportunities.
  • Keeping accurate records pertaining to individual contracts and general office administration.
  • Keeping abreast with evolving/mandatory regulatory changes such as EPR (extended producer responsibility).
  • Carbon audit and compliance reporting.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and listening skills
  • Proven Project Management record
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
  • Confident when presenting information
  • Essential skills to research, analyse, summarise and represent technical information in an obvious manner to clients and colleagues
  • Essential knowledge of regulations and guidelines related to the utility industry or the ability to obtain such knowledge
  • Proven skill to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Ability to use business software including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) with advanced proficiency
  • Able to prioritise your workload and remain calm under pressure
  • Have the ability to learn new things actively and digest technical information
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others both internally and externally
  • An analytical mind able to "see" the complexities of procedures and regulations
  • Ability to work alone and as a team player
  • Self motivated and organised
