Our Opportunity We are looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to join our London office. Make sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below. This role offers the successful Chartered Building Surveyor the chance to develop their career within an award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy.

Our team of building surveyors work across a variety of sectors and our current portfolio of works across healthcare, education, heritage, commercial and local authority sectors. As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for projects across all RIBA stages, from inception through to completion. Other responsibilities of the role include: Represent the practice at client meetings, presentations etc Monitor day-to-day programming and planning Defect investigation and maintenance advice Liaise directly with clients and other stakeholders as appropriate Develop and sustain client relationships Responsible for checking of documents, reports etc Construction design and building works Carrying out building surveys, measured surveys and building inspections About You This role will suit a motivated and enthusiastic Chartered Building Surveyor who has strong experience working on a variety of projects within the built environment.

Ideally with the following knowledge, experience, and attributes: Technical: Experience in general building surveying duties, managing and delivering Multi-Discipline Projects Project management experience of building maintenance work, refurbishment, and alterations of existing buildings and fire doors Stock condition reporting JCT and NEC3/4 contract administration experience, both are highly desirable, but training provided on NEC3/4 for the right individual Knowledge of building principles, preparing plans and specifications Ability to monitor and report on progress and expenditure of projects, with sound knowledge of drafting technical documents Building Surveying Degree - essential RICS Chartered status - essential Behavioural: Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues Logical and practical mind Leads by example This role may involve travel to other UK sites; therefore, a full driving license is essential.
