Leonard Cheshire has a new and exciting opportunity for motivated Male Support Workers to work as part of our Support at Home team to provide 24-hour support for our client in his own home in Kirkcaldy as well as community-based outreach to enable our Customer to live independently and to get more out of life.

As a Support Worker, you will provide assistance with personal care and support, daily living tasks as well as assisting with daily activities so they can attain their full potential, maximise options available and encourage choice, participation and motivation

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to be:

  • Compassionate, reliable, and honest and love working with people.
  • Bring great positive energy.
  • Have the ability, to work alone, whilst being part of a team.
  • Be flexible as we work shifts and weekend working is often required.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Leonard Cheshire’s ethos and values.

You don’t need any specific qualifications or experience, although, experience of providing personal care is advantageous. You will, however, need plenty of enthusiasm and passion for our work.
