  • About the Role: We are currently looking for experienced support workers to work in a customer’s own home alongside family members. Excellent values, communication, organisation and paperwork skill are important as is an energy for the role as it is a busy, activity driven environment. You will also be expected to cover shifts in other supported living schemes with in the locality. Your role will involve administering medication when trained, completion of Covid-19 cleaning rota, supporting customers on various activities, bowling, swimming, cycling, shopping and personal care. You will be working closely with the customers family, so professionalism is a must. Supporting someone with their daily life is not a 9-5 job. You will need to be able to work across a range of different days and shift patterns including sleep ins and waking night support. We realise that your quality time is important too, so your rota is prepared well in advance – Got a request, something special going on? Your manager will certainly try to help you meet it.   • What We Need from You: Values, enthusiasm, energy and vigour essential in order to improve the quality of life of the individual adopting a PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) approach. You do not need to have experience but it is essential that you share our values. As long as you have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of those with a learning disability, we will support you with progression opportunities throughout your career with us. An Enhanced DBS will be required for each successful candidate (Paid for by Oaklea, T&Cs apply) A Clean Driving Licence is essential for this role.
