Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to support a female with complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering care and support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for Apollo Home Healthcare who can offer regular shifts based upon your availability as well as a confirmed rota and competitive weekly pay
Our service user lives with her family in Sleaford.
She enjoys a variety of activities such as messy play, bubbles, sensory toys, watching her favourite films and going for walks to the local park.
She likes being outdoors and accessing community-based activities such as going out for lunch, going swimming, and participating in events at the local community hub.
Our service user has limited communication and it is important that you are able to communicate clearly, at a level she can understand and interpret as she displays challenging behaviours.
She must be involved in all aspects of her care and offered choice where possible however, you will also support her to make decisions and on occasions, advocate on her behalf.
We support this lady 24 hours per day, which is broken down into 12-hour day and night shifts.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced, dynamic individual who is able to adapt to her needs and requirements, whilst also being flexible to flexible to work a mixture of days, nights, and weekends.
Please note, applicants must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and be confident driving an adapted vehicle.

Essential Experience Required

3 months previous care experience Medication Administration Personal Care Moving and Handling UK Driving Licence
Desirable Experience
Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding) Diabetes Management Epilepsy Awareness Seizure Management Managing Challenging Behaviours
We have the following shifts available;
Full & Part Time Days and Nights 12 hour shifts
