Would you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical care?
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who can support our two young service users with their complex care needs.
In return, we can offer a permanent position of 36 hours per week, plus additional hours if wanted.
Both children live with their families in Loughborough and are located within close proximity of each other.
We have a mixture of days, evenings and waking night shifts available.
On an evening you will be supporting after school with activities, mealtimes, and their bedtime routines.
Throughout the night you will be responsible for carrying out observations and tending to their clinical and personal care needs as required.
Our first service user is young girl who enjoys keeping up with the latest fashion and beauty trends. - She also takes part in modelling shoots for the NHS, which she really enjoys.
Drama is another of her interests and she loves attending her local drama group where she takes part in plays and enjoys socialising with her friends.
Our second service user is a young boy who likes to watch TV & DVDs, listen to audiobooks, and loves stories being read to him.
He enjoys general play at home, going for walks to the park and accessing the community. He also attends boys brigade, which he is looking forward to resuming when restrictions are eased.
Applicants must have a genuine passion for working with children and young people and be happy to engage in the things they enjoy.
You will be passionate about care, enjoy delivering one to one support and be able to build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Essential Experience Required

3 months previous care experience Medication Administration Personal Care Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience
Working with children and young people Tracheostomy Care Nebuliser Care Ventilation Management Oral Suctioning Cough Assist Bowel Management Drivers with access to a vehicle
