About The Role

The Terrace, our supported living service in Mirfield (part of Voyage DCA Wakefield) supports 4 adults with learning disabilities and is currently recruiting for 1 part time support worker on a 24 hour contract to cover 2 shifts per week (07:30-22:00) plus sleep ins across a 7-day rota.
Whilst no two days or nights are the same typically, you’ll help the people we support to develop their independent living skills and support with everyday challenges such as personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending health appointments and taking part in hobbies & activities. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are meaningful to the people we support.
