We are considering Full, part time and Bank hours staff for these positions.

Flexibility is important for this role to cover a range of shift patterns which are on a rota system. You will be required to work day, nights, bank holidays etc. Additional to your contracted hours, you will be required to do sleep shifts which is paid at £8.94 per hour.

Dorset Learning Disability Service delivers to both residential and supported living services for adults with varying disabilities and complex needs and we are committed to ensuring that the people who use our services enjoy the highest quality of life.

As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire you will assist with daily tasks including personal care, medication and assistance at mealtimes, motivating and encouraging choice and participation.

No experience required!

You don’t need any specific qualifications or experience although experience of providing personal care in a Support Worker, Care Assistant or Health Care Assistant is advantageous. You will receive training and support to build your skills, experience and career.

You will be passionate about giving high standards of care, have good interpersonal skills and be able to work well as part of a team.
