Job Description

****CALLING ON ALL SCHOOL LEAVERS, WORKING PARENTS & SECURITY PROFESSIONALS IN CHELMSFORD****

This is a split Shift pattern

Monday to Friday:0600 – 0830 and 1700 - 2200

Saturday:0630 – 1430


Securitas is expanding - we need you to join the Chelmsford branch of our security team.

You will support a globally recognised insurance company that operates in 20+ countries worldwide. With a 300 year record, they are at the forefront of the Property & Casualty, Marine and Reinsurance markets.

Our Security Officers will have the duty of:

  • Protect the headquarters of a global outsourcing company.
  • Escort contractors within the secure facilities.
  • Manage Keys
  • Use radio to communicate with the business and your peers.
  • Patrols across the site.
  • Looking out for suspicious activity to diffuse.
  • Retain full control of any threatening behaviour until the arrival of the police or any other external agency.
  • Monitoring loss and waste – reporting any incidences.

Required Skills

Requirements of Security Officer:

  • Excellent customer service, people skills and time management
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
  • SIA License - funding and training can be arranged by Securitas.
  • Driving License
  • 5-year checkable employment history
  • SC screening will be carried out on all new starters.
