Arts, Crafts and Cookery Support Assistant who has a positive and proactive attitude is required for a well-established academy trust based in Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire.

This position would ideally suit candidates who are currently studying and looking for work during the weekends and holiday periods, although all applications will be considered.

SALARY: £5.28 - £10.42 per hour (dependent on age)

LOCATION: Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire

JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Casual

WORKING HOURS: Working during the weekends and school holidays

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Arts, Crafts and Cookery Support Assistant who has a positive and proactive attitude.

Working as an Arts, Crafts and Cookery Support Assistant you will be based in a local community Art Centre which offers a full arts programme for all ages and has facilities/spaces to hire for dance, fitness and performance groups. Within this programme they have delivered very popular Arts Crafts and cookery activities to children for over 7 years.

The Arts, Crafts and Cookery Support Assistant will be creative and enthusiastic and able to support the Tutors with a varied Children’s Arts, Crafts and Cookery programme during the weekends and school holidays.

As the Arts, Crafts and Cookery Support Assistant you will be proactive in your approach when helping children from 4-15 years with the tasks set and will help to set up materials for workshops, support children with their creative activities and clear up messy paint!

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Experience in Arts/Crafts/Cookery and working with children is desirable

A positive and proactive attitude is essential

Creativity and enthusiasm
