Supply Chain Planning Manager

Job Description

Role: Supply Chain Planning Manager

Location: Leicestershire

Salary: £35,000 pa

Hours: Full time 37.5 hrs per week, Monday - Friday 08:30am - 16:30pm

Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, working alongside the Purchasing, Product Sales, Imports and Central Distribution Centre teams to continuously improve stock processes, act as the business partner, be confident to challenge the status quo and develop and implement new ways of working.

  • Degree calibre or equivalent
  • Motivated, professional and conscientious
  • Passion for Stock Management, Process improvement, forecasting, S&OP and customer care
  • Analytical in nature
  • Good problem solving
  • Independent
Key skills
  • You must have excellent Excel skills, be competent in data analytics & insight.
  • A good understanding of S&OP principles and great communications of detailed plans.
  • Supplier management experience.
  • Detailed understanding of the supply chain from point of order to point of delivery, including the returns processes.
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • You will be comfortable working in a fast paced and, at times challenging, environment and have the patience to address challenges calmly with a solution-based approach.
  • A working knowledge of SAP is desirable. (SAP R/3 and SAP S4 Hana)
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Strong operational and commercial awareness.
