We have a fantastic opportunity for a Supplier Relations Manager to join our growing team

The purpose of the Supplier Relations Manager is to drive cross functional relationships, which will in turn drive commercial results, increase brand visibility, customer traffic, conversion, and satisfaction from a brand perspective.

The Supplier Relations manager will be instrumental in onboarding further suppliers and ensuring current suppliers re-sign. Responsible for maintaining supplier relationships, overseeing commercial contracts, and funding, as well as raising awareness within the product & supplier management community and wider teams.

Our Supplier funded content programmes (SSE) are dedicated to transforming and improving our brands digital offers, whilst also providing customers with an amazing online experience. This role is a new role based within our Digital Content team.

This position is available on a 12-month Fixed Term contract, and offers hybrid working where you can work from home or in our Corby offices.

About The Role

  • Maintain and update accordingly, programme contracts, to ensure ways of working are clearly defined and aligned with the team and organisations strategic plans and priorities.
  • Create/maintain onboarding packs to ensure they are up to date, relevant and provide clear details of the programme and scope of work.
  • Meet with suppliers to promote our programmes and lead any negotiations.
  • Build collaborative relationships with suppliers to drive strategic value, defining benefits and scope of programmes.
  • Build collaborative relationships with the wider internal teams, to promote our Supplier programmes and raise awareness.
  • Identify strategic suppliers with data and analytics to scope out suitability for a gold/silver programme, creating Supplier profiles and opportunities to target.
  • Oversee programme payments and funds, ensuring payments are made on time, from the suppliers and to 3rd parties. Raising invoices and purchase orders where relevant.
  • Collation of Supplier feedback to drive improvements and improve relationships.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in matrix environments with cross functional teams
  • Experience in negotiation and managing key stakeholders
  • Strong commercial skills and the ability to drive value from suppliers
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, or with relevant business experience
  • Experience analysing customer/supplier and performance data to reach conclusions and drive action or recommendations
  • Passion for delivering a great supplier experience and driving strong commercial results
  • Flexible and dynamic approach to managing multiple accounts and workload
