Supplier Quality Engineer required by leading Cheltenham based engineering company. The successful candidate will be responsible for approval of new suppliers, monitoring of their performance and continuous improvement.

Main Duties
  • Auditing of suppliers and making recommendations
  • Implementing corrective actions when required
  • Assessment of First Article Inspection Reports
  • Driving continuous improvement across the supply chain
  • Supporting with selection of new suppliers
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • A lead auditor in ISO9001 or AS9100
  • A mechanical or electronic engineering background
  • Knowledge of root cause investigation
  • Mechanical Inspection knowledge
  • Working knowledge of electrical and electronic test procedure
  • Excellent problem solving skills
