Salary: circa £35kAbout the Company:A local manufacturing company are looking for a SQE to join their team. Supplier Quality Engineer- What you will bringThe ideal candidate MUST have proven experience in supplier quality within a manufacturing environment. Hold a recognised engineering qualification such as HNC, HND or BEng. Experience of supplier quality in a high-volume manufacturing. Knowledge and understanding of six sigma methodology and lean techniques Excellent communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and identify improvement opportunities. Experienced in supplier audits.Supplier Quality Engineer- Responsibilities Collaborate with suppliers and identify improvement opportunities. Investigate root cause failure mode, cause of occurrence and outflow using 8D Supplier continuous improvement activities Drive supplier performance to identify non conformances and drive supplier process improvement, RCA, and robust corrective and preventive action.For more information, please call Nicole McFarland on (phone number removed)
