With its most recent acquisitions, Heroux-Devtek is bolstering its status as one of the foremost landing gear, actuation and hydraulic system designers and manufacturers in the global aerospace industry.Division InfoThe Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.Summary Of PositionThe Supplier Quality Auditor will work closely with the supplier Quality team, Quality Manager and Procurement departments to ensure all suppliers are initially and continuously working to a standard that is acceptable to APPH Ltd (HD) and its customers.Main Responsibilities
  • Ensuring supplier compliance with standards from regulatory authorities
  • Carrying out onsite and desktop audits of suppliers worldwide
  • Promoting improving quality standards by participating in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Controlling the approved supplier list
  • Risk assessing new suppliers
  • Carrying out internal process audits where required
  • Administration of the supplier communication portal
QualificationsPrevious Lead auditing experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to a chemical process environment operating under AS9100 standards.Experience In Quality Systems And Regulatory RequirementsComputer literacy.It will be necessary for all applicants for this job to be able to prove that they are legally entitled to work in the UK and unrestricted travel.You enjoy challenges, teamwork an a quality working environment that evolves continuously?
