Internship Description:

Our internships give you the opportunity to apply your skills and accelerate your learning from day one. As an Intern, you will be given an insight into one of our projects and work alongside technical experts, learning new skills and gaining new experiences. Our internships last typically between 8 to 12 weeks and you’ll be working in our: Electrical and Electronic team.

Our inclusive and diverse Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation team, work across a broad spectrum of UK and international projects and industrial sectors. This can offer variation of work, experience, and challenges within Water, Energy, Rail, Highways, or Building Services; with Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation Engineers involved in design of all aspects from Electrical distribution and Motor Control, through to Instrumentation, Industrial Control, and Automation. Everything you do will have sustainability at its heart through the designing of energy efficient electrical systems, renewable energy systems and their integration.

• Accepted degrees: Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering (preferred). We will also consider applicants with master’s level degrees with Electrical element such as combined electrical & mechanical or electronics & electrical
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Studying towards a related degree
• You will enjoy working in a team environment and have the confidence to work under pressure
• You will be innovative & creative
• Resilient and able to deal with ambiguity
• Be a strategic and analytical thinker
• Excellent communication skills, and technical knowledge appropriate for the area you are applying to
• Relevant work experience through internships would be advantageous
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
